Questions
Is it safe for beginners?
Yes. The Brunswick River is calm and protected, and our guides keep the pace easy and beginner friendly.
How old do children need to be?
Children 3 years and over are welcome on both river tours.
Can non swimmers come?
Yes, if they are physically fit. A good level of fitness is needed.
Do I need kayaking experience?
No. We teach you the basics before you start.
Why do the times change each day?
The nature tour runs on the high tide, when the water is clearest, so the time moves with the tide. The sunset tour moves with the sunset. You get the confirmed time when you book.
What if the weather turns?
If we need to postpone, you can reschedule for another day or time, or take a refund when you booked directly with us.
What wildlife will we see?
We often see rays, mullet, cormorants, eagles, kingfishers and other local birdlife. Sightings vary with the season.
